Do Jewish day schools in Cleveland accept EdChoice?

The chartered ones do. 13 Jewish schools are in our directory and 13 of them are on Ohio's chartered list. Families in the Heights and Beachwood live outside the Cleveland district, so they use EdChoice Expansion, which is scaled to income.

How much would a large Orthodox family receive under EdChoice Expansion?

Expansion is figured per child against household size, so bigger families have a higher full-award line. A family of eight receives the full $6,166 per K-8 child up to $250,740 of income in 2026-27, and a family of six up to $199,620.

Which tax-credit funds serve Heights-area schools?

The Attorney General's 2026 list includes the Heights Tax Credit Fund and the Give For Kids Scholarship Fund, both in University Heights. Ask your school which SGO it works with before you or your relatives give.
