Ummah Center School (Columbia Station): Voucher Status & Funding

About these records. Each school combines the federal Private School Survey (NCES 2023-24, or 2021-22 where a school skipped the latest round) with Ohio's state school directory (OEDS) and DEW's 2026-27 list of non-chartered schools, both pulled October 28, 2026. "Chartered" means OEDS lists the school as a chartered nonpublic school, the only kind that can take Cleveland Scholarship or EdChoice students; schools also register each year as providers, so confirm with the school. Neither agency collects tuition.

Can a voucher be used at Ummah Center School?

$6,166

2026-27 EdChoice maximum, grades K-8

$8,408

2026-27 EdChoice maximum, grades 9-12

Yes, if the school is taking scholarship students this year. Ohio's state school directory (OEDS) lists Ummah Center School (IRN 021688) as a chartered nonpublic school, the kind that can enroll EdChoice, EdChoice Expansion and Cleveland Scholarship students. Most families near Columbia Station use EdChoice Expansion, which pays up to $6,166 for grades K-8 and $8,408 for grades 9-12 for 2026-27 and tapers above 450% of poverty; a child who lives in the Cleveland district would bring a Cleveland Scholarship instead.

Faith-based schools of every tradition take vouchers on the same terms when chartered, and several Heights-area tax-credit funds support the region's day schools; ask which one this school uses.

Will you file a Cleveland Scholarship or an EdChoice application for my child for 2026-27, and are seats open in that grade?
Once the voucher is applied, what do we still owe, and what do registration, books, devices and uniforms add?
Do you discount for siblings or members, award need-based aid, or receive money from a tax-credit SGO?
Which documents do you need from us to file the application, and when?
